Diet Plan: Counting calories, under 1600 each day. I don't keep track of fat calories because I try to eat mostly low-fat or fat-free foods.
Exercise Plan: I have a membership to a gym, but I've been bad about going these past couple months... gonna get back into it soon!
Mental State: really motivated - this time I'm going to lose the weight for sure!!

A Little About Me: I'm 23 and graduated from a university in Boston over a year ago, and now I work there as a staff member full time. I'm hoping to go for my master's degree soon! I like to take things slow and steady when it comes to losing weight, because I find that if I'm very strict, I fall off the wagon =P

I have a wonderful boyfriend, P, who's just fabulous, and I love kittens and correct grammar. =P

Hey! I got those graphics of my height at different weights from My Virtual Model, http://www.mvm.com, sign up and go to the weightloss tab to enter your current weight and goal weight, ;) It's motivating to see how you'll look, and is how I decided anything less than 120 lbs was too scrawny for me!

Thank goodness you are back! Well Im back-not that I officially left-but Ive been busy, and not having much of a chance to blog or comment and whatnot. At least not as much as I would like... I have definately missed seeing you around the site-but it sounds as if everything is going quite well for you! Keep it up!

Lazy week

So that very lazy weekend turned into a very lazy week - I literally did NOTHING. I sat around inside all day and night. It was kind of nice to relax, but honestly, it was mostly just depressing. At the end of the week though, I heard back from the HR department about this job I've been looking at and it turns out that I got it! Woohoo! So now I work at the university library. I started on Monday, and it seems like a fairly easy job. I already know most of the system because I worked at the library (a different one, but at the same university) as a work-study student during my college years there.

I feel much more motivated in the diet/health area now that I have a regular schedule to adhere to... it's really quite nice.

Today: clif bar: 240
vitamin water: 125
milk in coffee: 30
chicken salad sandwich: 350
tuna with mustard: 130
healthy choice chicken soup: 230
corona: 130
white wine: 300 (maybe 3 glasses total...high estimate)

Total: 1635

Not too bad... wish I had had onnneee less glass of white wine, but I'm not going to beat myself up about it. It was a special occasion ;)
