Fun but bad day Well, today was a holiday here in France. They get the day following Easter off rather than good Friday here, so we were planning a nice quiet day at home. But the weather was gorgeous so we went out in front of the house to play, and met up with one of our neighbors who is single with a little boy a couple of months older than our little guy, who in turned invited us over to lunch. He cooks great, but he cooks fatty foods. I hate to be rude, so I always end up eating whatever he serves, in as small of portions as I can get away with, but sometimes, like today it doesn't help. My husband and I eat so much natural stuff, no sauces, little butter, etc on our food that when we eat fatty food that he makes our stomachs almost turn inside out from the shock! LOL We're recovering tonight, but I'm thinking they may be some bad repercussions in the scale this week, which makes me quite sad. It really wasn't worth the set back in food, but the visit was fun as always. Anyway, I hope everyone else had a great Easter! |

Wishing everyone a very happy Easter holiday! Well, we're getting ready for Easter around here. In fact the easter bunny has already been to visit :) My girls were very concerned tonight that we leave the door unlocked so that he could get in LOL Such cuties! |

2 biking sessions Well, I didn't do as well as I should have today, but I am feeling quite bummed with my weight. I know I shouldn't be because I am down 2 lbs from last Thursday, but I was down 4 and put back on 2 for unknown reasons. I hadn't cheated a single bit, and exercised a bit everyday except Sunday, so I feel like I could be eating whatever I want and doing the same darned thing! So today I indulged in a few too many yummies. Most were healthy, a bit of banana, some strawberries, but also some cookies, a handful of m & m's, and 2 bites of pizza. It's not much, but it's still likely to set me back yet again tomorrow. |

And I know what you mean about eating...after I eat junk my stomach just goes into shock and then pays me back in kind! I should learn to not eat the crap if I don't want a protesting tummy that sends me running for the toilet! :P You'll make up for the bad food this week by getting back on track!
Just remember it's only every once in a while. And it's a good thing that it puts your bodies in shock, that means you're treating it really well! Keep up the awesome work :)

Yes, that "social" eating is the worst! It is so hard to be in a situation where you're in a corner with no other way out! You handled it well, though. So sorry you're feeling sick because of it. But, it is the beginning of the week, and you have plenty of time to make up for it!
