Ok--so the holidays are right around the corner. Do you have a game plan in mind for it?
Maybe we all need to do the emergency GSG again--unless people felt that it didn't work because people weren't giving an immediate reply--or maybe our GSG can have guidelines like if you're faced w/goodies, you should write on GSG about it and then make a list on paper of reasons why you shouldn't eat it and why you won't eat it and how you will feel after doing so and then maybe a rule about abstaining for at least 4 hours or 8 hours before making a decision about the goodie and then that the people have to report back as to whether or not the goodie was consumed. (and how much) That way-there's accountability, too? What do you think? Any ideas for tweaking this so it will be solid by the holidays-or Hween? :)

Happy belated birthday!!! =)
Hope you are doing well! Sending happy thoughts your way!

Tips

"Start the day with a large glass of water. At first you might feel a little icky drinking water on an empty stomach, but after a few days you will adjust and be fine. It's a great way to cleanse your system and jump start your appetite for breakfast."

Got back from our last big trip/event of the summer on Thursday night. Woke up with a head cold on Friday, ugghhh! Let me just say that it is very hard to follow a weight loss or even healthy eating program when traveling so much and having so much company. Since the end of April we have had 8 major events which involved either traveling or overnight guests in our home. Next summer will have to be more moderate, no doubt!

So now that I have nothing real major coming up until Christmas, I am so ready to just get into a regular routine around here, eating and exercising included. I will face the scale tomorrow, I know it's not going to be pretty. I'm guessing maybe I'm back up to 170. Honestly, I'm afraid to look. But I'm going to face it and I'm going to post it on my profile page.

Last week at camp in Lake of the Ozarks was not so great in the food department but I did exercise everyday, so I'm proud of myself for that. It was a challenging week with my husband getting the stomach flu and having to stay in bed for two full days in the cabin. My 10 year got a terrible case of hives that caused her face and neck to swell terribly. With the 100 degree heat, she was miserable. We had to seek medical treatment in a strange town an hour or so from camp. So glad to be be home with nothing major on the horizon. However, we do start back to school tomorrow.
