Diet Plan: Trying to find that groove again and get back into an upswing with good lifestyle habits. Still battling against compulsive eating behavior and lately been losing most of the battles. : (
Exercise Plan: I love exercise. Walking, hiking, jogging, bicycling, swimming, elliptical, yoga and pilates have all been on my plate in differing amounts this summer.
Mental State: on-again off-again

A Little About Me: I'm taking on another child for homeschooling this year, that makes three including my own two girls. Juggling a part time job and my role as pastor's wife to boot. Sometimes life is just too busy for me to enjoy.

Ok--so the holidays are right around the corner. Do you have a game plan in mind for it?
Maybe we all need to do the emergency GSG again--unless people felt that it didn't work because people weren't giving an immediate reply--or maybe our GSG can have guidelines like if you're faced w/goodies, you should write on GSG about it and then make a list on paper of reasons why you shouldn't eat it and why you won't eat it and how you will feel after doing so and then maybe a rule about abstaining for at least 4 hours or 8 hours before making a decision about the goodie and then that the people have to report back as to whether or not the goodie was consumed. (and how much) That way-there's accountability, too? What do you think? Any ideas for tweaking this so it will be solid by the holidays-or Hween? :)

Doing better

Finally I am on the upswing with this head cold. I felt pretty good all day yesterday. On another note, I had been avoiding the scale like the plague as my eating has been so inconsistent and mostly bad. I had decided that I must be near 190 because of the way my clothes are fitting and the obvious water retention. I faced the scale this morning and was so pleasantly surprised that it said 178. So, that was a quick loss of 12 pounds! Still, I can't continue how I've been going. I'm starting to dig my old clothes out of the bins downstairs cuz my closet clothes are too tight. I'm trying hard not to be too tough and rough on myself. I'm still working the OA program but found a sponsor who has a whole different approach, one who is balanced and gentle. I think that is what I need right now.
